Lekhuns Projects (Pty) Ltd is a civil construction company that has built a strong reputation for delivering a quality service, on time and at a competitive price. We pride ourselves in being skilled and experienced in all aspects of civil construction and this, combined with our extensive knowledge of the market, will establish us as major players in this industry.
Requirements
Want a clean brochure like website that potential customers can easily brows through and understand company business goals at a go.
Research
Studied the company profile to understand what the business goal is and took a look at construction companies that are visible online. Client shared similar sites that they wanted to imitate, which gave an overview on how the client wanted to experience the site.
Creating Prototype
Adhering to the business objectives, I created a prototype that was presented to company’s customers and product owner for evaluation. After feed back design was modified and presented back for evaluation. Once prototype is approved, it is then used as a backlog driver to meet the requirements.
Development
Spent time defining the front-end framework and tools to be used for this requirement. Purchased and installed a bootstrap theme and started creating the actual code that was inline with the requirements. Collaborated with client to gain validated feedback.
QA and Testing
Once development was complete, the website was deployed on a testing environment and allowed the client to do a heuristic evaluation to ensure the requirements are met.
Maintenance and Support
Website is now hosted in production. Any bugs are being monitored and fixed on time. To fix any bugs, testing environment is being used before deploying to production.
